The Macon County Health Department will be hosting several back-to-school events. Their next event will be on July 15th. Students who attend the events can receive the following: back-to-school vaccines, lead testing, dental screening, physicals, vision screening, and backpacks (August 2nd only). We were honored to welcome Millikin University's new president, Dr. Dean Pribbenow, to the Macon/Piatt Regional Office of Education #39 today! On Friday, June 27th, IMPACT Student Liaison Coordinator Katie O'Dell, along with Student Liaisons Danniel Wentworth and McKenzi Celiz, attended the West 40 ALOP Summit. The day began with an inspiring keynote from Dan Meers, the KC Wolf of the Kansas City Chiefs, whose stories brought motivation and heart.

Attendees then explored breakout sessions covering topics like trauma-informed practices, advocacy, legislation, SEL, and more.
